MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or amihan and the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will proceed to deliver rains in some components of the nation on Monday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Providers Administration (Pagasa) stated.

In a morning climate advisory, state climate specialist Daniel James Villamil reported that the northeast monsoon will deliver cloudy skies with rains in areas of maximum northern Luzon.

“Dahil nga sa epekto ng hanging amihan o northeast monsoon, asahan natin ang mataas na tsansa ng kaulapan at pag-ulan sa mga lalawigan ng Batanes, dito sa Cagayan, at sa space ng Apayao,” Villamil said.
